Qantas has taken steps to create a smoother and more comfortable experience at Sydney Airport for passengers on their QantasLink offshoot by shifting all the airline’s Sydney flights from Terminal 2 to a dedicated QantasLink facility in Terminal 3. Not only will passengers benefit from easier transitions to domestic and international flights, but they will also have access to the greater range of amenities in Terminal 3, including the excellent Qantas Business Lounge and Qantas Club.
Later this year QantasLink hopes to achieve completion of a new Terminal 3 gate, which will further assist accommodation of the extra one million passengers that these changes will funnel through the terminal annually.
Following the restructuring, the airline has announced Terminal 2’s Qantas Club will close. Eligible QantasLink customers traveling on Jetstar will also be able to use the Terminal 3 clubs.
