Charity foundation unveils new partnership
The Qantas Foundation announced that it has stepped in to undertake all air travel required by Australia’s Make A Wish Foundation, a charity dedicated to making the wildest dreams of seriously ill youngsters come true. Chloe Tziros, 16, and her family recently took off for Disneyland on flight QF11, with the Red Roos set to sponsor more good work on into the future.
Make A Wish Australia has made the impossible a reality for over 7,000 unfortunate children since 1985. CEO Gerard Menses was understandably grateful that the national airline has come to their aid: “We are absolutely thrilled the Qantas Foundation has chosen to partner with us. Travel is the largest cost associated with granting wishes, and with hundreds of very sick children waiting for their wishes to come true, this partnership has come at a perfect time.”
