VA's Boeing 777-300ER aircraft carry passengers between the U.S. and Australia. 33 International Business Class seats at the front of the plane in a 2-3-2 formation give way to 40 Premium Economy in 2-4-2, followed by 288 International Economy flyers seated in 3-3-3 formation. Its fleet is the newest on the US to Australia route.

International Business passengers on Virgin are treated to extra large leather seats, oversized seat-back entertainment screens and an exclusive menu designed by top Australian chef Luke Mangan. Premium Economy has extra legroom, nice wide seats, handheld entertainment consoles and an enhanced menu.
International Economy Class has luxury leather seats, personal entertainment screens and optional upgrades to a gourmet menu.

Members of the Virgin Australia lounge program as well as the airline's Velocity Platinum and Gold members, and Business Elite and Premium Economy passengers can relax in Virgin and partner airlines' lounges before takeoff.
